Toronto, Ontario--(Newsfile Corp. - October 8, 2020) - Creating functional packaging that looks terrific and satisfies Health Canada's stringent regulations isn't easy. Incredibly, Brad Trumper of Boomer Brand Management spotted an opportunity to pitch design-minded cannabis discovery brand, AHLOT (A Higher Level of Thought) an idea that would expand on their well-loved cannabis discovery packs and made a custom product that consumers are enjoying today.

"My respect for what AHLOT was doing, plus an idea for something they hadn't yet tried, is what made me approach the company. The team welcomed me with open arms and helped my idea come to life; now it's come to market," says Trumper.

The collaboration between Boomer and AHLOT has resulted in portable packs that contain ready-to-light prerolls featuring premium cannabis evaluated and approved by AHLOT's Cannabis Curation Committee. The High THC Select multi-packs feature three unique 0.5g prerolls of up to 25% THC, including Carmel's debut cultivar, Drew's Dark Helmet, Muskoka Grown's craft cultivar, Glueberry OG, and James E Wagner's KT GE (King Tut GE). They are now available at OCS.ca and a growing number of retail cannabis stores in Canada.

"We developed numerous prototypes before landing on the final design. We worked on hand made samples, factory-made samples, and PMS colours. We worked on the size, function, colour and style, and ended up going with a hybrid approach with some direct printing and labelling.

We wanted the push button; we wanted soft colours; we wanted the walls to go all the way to the roof of the box. We wanted it to be recyclable and brand-aware. In the end, we incorporated ninety percent of what AHLOT wanted, and still make it compliant with Health Canada's regulations.

AHLOT needed the goods to be delivered within thirty-six days of order, and we accomplished that within forty-five days, from signed proof to door, and ready for use. Mind you, all of this occurred during COVID-19. Despite a minor delay, it all came together for AHLOT."

For Trumper, this is just the beginning. "My goal is to start up new relationships in Q4 by offering five free hours of design work for all new projects, and provide more opportunities for new brands and producers to connect with their consumers."
