Starfire is a mineral exploration company engaged in the acquisition and exploration of base and precious metal properties.

The company currently holds 6 properties in Quebec, Ontario, and British Columbia, prospective for uranium, nickel, zinc and precious metals.

The company plans to focus on both its Porphyry Pearl property in the Toodoggone mining district in northern British Columbia, where previous drilling has intersected copper and gold mineralization, and on its Langmuir Township property in Timmins, Ontario.

The Company holds three nickel prospects in the Langmuir Nickel Belt southeast of Timmins, Ontario. This belt is the site of historical and current nickel production, with the nearby Inspiration Mining property previously reporting nickel intersections of 1.06% over 19.1 metres, 1.04% over 13.6 metres, and 1.25% over 9.7 metres. Starfire drill results during 2006 to 2008 included intersections of 3.80% nickel over 6.65 metres, and 3.51% nickel over 1.5 metres.

At the time of the listing, the company announced that it had completed a non-brokered private placement of $2.9 million from the sales of 58.8 million units at $0.05 per unit. The company also issued a further 9.95 million shares at a deemed price of $0.05 per share to settle $498,000 in debt.
