On November 22, 2022, Agora issued a press release announcing its unaudited financial results for the third quarter of 2022. Agora attributed its revenue miss to "a challenging global macro environment and restrictive regulations in certain markets".

On this news, Agora's stock price fell $0.67 per share, or 20%, to close at $2.68 per share on November 22, 2022.
