Acro Energy Announces Special Meeting Results

Houston, Texas--(Newsfile Corp. - March 27, 2012) - Acro Energy Technologies Corp. (OTC Other: ACRZF) (“Acro Energy”) announced that, at the Special Meeting of Shareholders held on March 27, 2012, the Company’s shareholders approved the special resolution authorizing the amalgamation of Acro Energy and Lonestar Renewable Technologies Acquisition Corp.

Harry Fleming, chief executive officer of Acro Energy, stated: “I am pleased to announce that the amalgamation resolution was approved by the shareholders of Acro Energy and that 98.34% of the 24,039,271 shares voted in favor the resolution.”

Upon completion of the amalgamation, Lonestar Renewable Technologies Acquisition Corp. will own all of the outstanding common shares of Acro Energy. Pursuant to the amalgamation, each outstanding common share of Acro Energy will be exchanged for a redeemable preferred share of the amalgamated company, which shares will be immediately redeemed for a redemption amount of $0.04 per share.

Acro Energy plans to apply to the applicable securities regulatory authorities in order to cease to be a reporting issuer under applicable securities legislation as soon as practicable.
