Verus Partners & Co. Announces the Appointment of Rahul Suri as Partner

Toronto, Ontario--(Newsfile Corp. - February 18, 2016) - Verus Partners & Co., an independent investment banking advisory firm headquartered in Toronto, announces the appointment of Rahul Suri as a Partner to its expanding team. Mr. Suri will be based in Toronto.

Mr. Suri brings to Verus a broad range of advisory and business experiences through successful careers in investment banking, industry and law. Over the past three decades, Mr. Suri has advised on and completed (as a principal) numerous complex domestic and international transactions. He has provided strategic and financial advice to many leading Canadian and international corporations, including Air Canada, BHP Billiton, Celestica, CN Rail, Great-West Life, Onex, Rogers Communications, Royal Bank of Canada and Sleeman Breweries. As the former leader of a large global high technology manufacturing and supply chain management business, Mr. Suri brings a unique principal approach as a trusted advisor.

Prior to joining Verus, Mr. Suri was a senior partner with BMO Capital Markets, where he advised on domestic and cross-border M&A transactions and led the firm's investment and corporate banking business in Growth Markets. Previously, Mr. Suri was a senior executive with Celestica Inc., a global leader in the electronics manufacturing services industry. Initially, as SVP of Corporate Development, he devised and executed the growth and diversification acquisition strategy for Celestica; subsequently, he served as SVP and Group General Manager of the company's multi-billion dollar Global Enterprise Solutions Division. Mr. Suri was also a Partner with Davies Ward Phillips & Vineberg where he focused on M&A and corporate finance. He is a graduate of Cambridge University, England.
