Pacific Opportunity Capital Acquires Significant Position in Paget Minerals Corp.

Vancouver, British Columbia--(Newsfile Corp. - February 1, 2016) - Pacific Opportunity Capital Ltd. (the "Acquiror") wishes to announce that on January 5, 2016, it acquired, by way of a private placement, 950,000 units ("Units") of Paget Minerals Corp. (the "Company") at a price of $0.05 per Unit. Each Unit is comprised of one common share and one share purchase warrant, with each warrant exercisable into one common share of the Company for a period of 36 months at an exercise price of $0.10 per share. Between January 6, 2016 and January 31, 2016, the Acquiror and the controlling shareholder of the Acquiror, Mark T. Brown, acquired ownership and control a total of another 200,000 common shares of the Company in the public market with prices ranging from $0.025 to $0.04 per share.

The 1,150,000 common shares and 950,000 share purchase warrants of the Company acquired by the Acquiror and Mr. Brown represent approximately 10.48% (basic) and 18.96% (partially diluted) of the issued and outstanding common shares of the Company. Following the acquisition, the Acquiror and its controlling shareholder, together, owns and controls 1,150,000 common shares and 950,000 warrants of the Company, representing approximately 12.67% (basic) and 20.94% (partially diluted) of the issued and outstanding common shares of the Company.

The Acquiror and its controlling shareholder acquired the common shares for investment purposes. The Acquiror and its controlling shareholder have no present intention to acquire ownership of, or control over, additional securities of the Company, but may choose to acquire additional securities of the Company in the future for investment purposes.
