Health experts have constantly emphasized that in order to better prevent and manage hypertension, controlling of salt intake is crucial. As a research report from Peking University previously showed, reducing population salt intake by 1 g/day could lower the risk for ischaemic heart disease by about 4% and the risk for stroke by about 6%, highlighting the necessity to conduct regular monitoring of indicators like sodium, potassium, and creatinine levels in urine.
