Notice of Class Action Against SDWC Financial LLC and Meredith Bruce Relating to Drive Planning Ponzi Scheme

Atlanta, Georgia--(Newsfile Corp. - June 9, 2025) - On May 2, 2025, an Amended Class Action Complaint was filed by Brian Hauger on behalf of all investors who invested in Drive Planning through Meredith Bruce and SDWC Financial LLC. The lawsuit alleges that Meredith Bruce and SDWC Financial LLC, sold investments in Drive Planning, which was alleged by the SEC to be a Ponzi Scheme, and alleges claims under the Securities and Exchange Act of 1933, among other claims. See Hauger vs. SDWC Financial LLZC and Meredith Bruce et al, Case No 25-cv-01058 (U.S. District Court, N.D. Georgia (aka "the Court"). The SEC effectively shut down Drive Planning on August 14, 2024, when it obtained a Temporary Restraining Order in a lawsuit the SEC filed against Drive Planning LLC, Todd Burkhalter, and Jacqueline Burkhalter, Case No. 24-cv-03583 (US District Court, N.D. Georgia).

The Amended Class Action Complaint, filed by attorneys Brian Pastor, Jeff Sonn and Ross Good, alleges Bruce and SDWC encouraged persons to invest in Drive Planning." The complaint alleges the Defendants provided potential investors with Drive Planning promotional materials that touted a "10 percent return" and "$20,000 minimum" to invest, according to the lawsuit. The lawsuit alleges Defendants were "aware, or should have been aware, that their investors' money was unsecured and that the investment vehicle was nothing more than a massive scheme to defraud."

If you invested in Drive Planning during the Class Period (September, 2020 through June, 2024), you may move the Court no later than 60 days from the date of this notice to ask the Court to appoint you as lead plaintiff.
