(www.menzerhill.com) announced today that it is filing a FINRA arbitration claim against CrowdStreet Capital, LLC related to investment losses involving ONH 1601 CS Investors LLC and ONH AFC CS Investors LLC or more commonly known as the Atlanta Financial Center and the Miami based Lincoln Place investments.
CrowdStreet advertised to the investing public a "New Investment Opportunity" involving 1601 Washington, Lincoln Place - Miami along with the Atlanta Financial Center to investors throughout the country. The aforementioned notwithstanding, both entities have filed bankruptcy petitions in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.
Fortunately, those investors that purchased investments in ONH 1601 CS Investors LLC and ONH AFC CS Investors LLC, may be able to recover their losses through the FINRA arbitration process. Under FINRA rules and regulations, broker-dealers are required to conduct proper due-diligence before recommending or soliciting such investments to prospective clients. Furthermore, broker-dealers are required to properly disclose all the risks related to such investments, specifically, that these types of products are extremely speculative investments and are unsuitable for most investors.
