Vancouver, British Columbia--(Newsfile Corp. - May 20, 2014) - New Moon Minerals Corp. (“New Moon”, or the “Company”) announces it has appointed Richard Hopp as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company, effective May 15, 2014. Mr. Hopp succeeds Warren Stanyer, who has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of New Moon since December 2012. Mr. Stanyer continues to serve as director, and as Interim Chief Financial Officer following the resignation of Richard Iwuc in September 2013.

The directors of New Moon remain Andrew Gracie (Chairman), Richard Hopp and Warren Stanyer.
