New Zealand Energy Corp Announces Expected Delay in Filing Accounts
Wellington, New Zealand--(Newsfile Corp. - June 24, 2020) - New Zealand Energy Corp. (TSXV: NZ) ("NZEC" or the "Company") advises that effective from June 22nd, 2020, the TSX Venture Exchange (the "Exchange") suspended trading in the Company's securities as a result of a Cease Trade Order ("CTO") issued by the British Columbia Securities Commission.
The CTO was issued because the Company has not yet lodged its financial accounts for the period ending 31 December 2019. As announced on June 15 2020, the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic have resulted in a delay in finalising these accounts. The Company is focussed on finalising the accounts as soon as possible.
