US Saean Group Inc. and South Korea BK Dong Yeong Tech Co., Ltd. Signed MOA for Electric Vehicle Battery Supply

Las Vegas, Nevada--(Newsfile Corp. - August 25, 2023) - Saean Group Inc. (SEAN) is pleased to announce that the company and BK Dong-yeong Tech have signed a memorandum of agreement (MOA) over battery supply and mutual cooperation at 2 p.m. at Saean R&D in Hanam, South Korea on the 11th.

At the signing ceremony, held at the Saean R&D in Hanam, Gyeonggi Province, Jeong Hae-man, executive director of Saean Group introduced the "E-T30 Project," a new development of a 27-ton electric power refractive dump truck. Saean announced plans to start production of refractive dump trucks in December next year and sell up to 200 units annually from 2025.

Lee Ki-hong, CEO of BK Dong-yeong Tech, introduced shock tests, battery damage tests, and other demonstrations to maintain stable voltage. The new battery greatly enhances safety with a system that is completely different from the materials used in existing lithium batteries.

BK said it is confident that there will be an opportunity to change the paradigm of batteries that operate normally, even at temperatures ranging from -40°C to 70°C.

At the signing ceremony, BK Dong-yeong Tech will supply battery prototypes for Saean Group's production of electric vehicles and electric trucks, with Saean Group vowing to meet strict quality standards in fitting them to vehicles.

Saean Group is a company that designs, develops, and manufactures electrically powered passenger cars and special vehicles based in Nevada, and is preparing to produce automobiles at home and abroad.

On the other hand, BK Dong-yeong Tech is a solid secondary battery manufacturer, and produces secondary batteries that do not use lithium by utilizing 'energy storage supercapacitor' technology. The new BK battery has advantages such as fast charging speed, long life, excellent operating ability at extreme temperatures, and reduced fire risk.

An official from BK Dong-yeong Tech said, "We will provide technical support for the construction of a 2 gigawatt battery plant to meet the large-scale battery demand of Saean Group. If there are no problems in quality and production, we will also cooperate in the construction of a 40 gigawatt production line."

In addition, a Saean Group official said, "We are considering establishing a battery mass production plant through a joint venture (JV) abroad, and cooperating to support BK Dong-yeong Tech's listing on the Nasdaq in the U.S."
