Colba.Net Telecom Announces the Nomination of Robert Proulx, P. Eng., M.Sc.A.

Montreal, Quebec--(Newsfile Corp. - January 8, 2014) - Colba.Net Telecom Inc. (CSE: CB) announces the nomination of Mr. Robert Proulx to its Board of Directors.

Mr. Proulx has acquired more than 35 years of experience in the fields of Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Controls and Telecommunications. In the field of Telecommunications he has successfully occupied the position of Vice-President at Genetic Telecommunications (Soprin - Telecom). Before joining Cogeco Cable as Vice-President of operations and Technical Services from 1997 to 2002, Mr. Proulx occupied the position of Vice-President of Telecommunications at IMS Consultants which became Xit Telecom Inc. where he became the President. In 2006 Xit Telecom restructured and became Groupe Xit which included Xit Telecom (the Engineering Firm) and Xittel Telecommunications. Xittel Telecommunications offers telecommunication services in more than 400 communities in Quebec, Ontario and United States.

Mr. Proulx obtained his Engineering degree at Ecole Polytechique de Montreal in 1977, M.Sc.A. Degree from McGill University in 1981 and a Graduate degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Entrepreneurship development. In 2001, Mr. Proulx received the prestigious Canaries Iway Award for his contribution to the deployment of broadband networks in Canada.
