Oakville, Ontario--(Newsfile Corp. - September 17, 2018) - Cardiol Therapeutics Inc. ("Cardiol" or the "Company"), a biotechnology company specializing in the research and commercial development of novel drug therapies utilizing proprietary drug-delivery systems, is pleased to announce that it has filed a preliminary prospectus with the securities regulatory authorities in each of the provinces of Canada, except Quebec, in connection with a proposed initial public offering (the "Offering") of its Class A common shares (the "Common Shares"). A copy of the preliminary prospectus is available on SEDAR (www.sedar.com).

The Offering will be made through a syndicate of underwriters led by AltaCorp Capital Inc.

The preliminary prospectus has not yet become final for the purposes of the sale of the securities, and information contained in the preliminary prospectus may not be complete and may have to be amended. There will not be any sale or any acceptance of an offer to buy the securities until a receipt for the final prospectus has been issued.
