Vancouver, British Columbia--(Newsfile Corp. - August 24, 2026) - Quantum Secure Encryption Corp. (CSE: QSE) (OTCQB: QSEGF) (FSE: VN80) ("QSE" or the "Company"), a post-quantum cybersecurity company focused on quantum-resilient data protection, identity security, secure storage and cryptographic migration readiness, is pleased to announce a strategic partnership with Pos Digicert Sdn. Bhd. ("Pos Digicert") to help Malaysian organizations assess, understand and strengthen their readiness for the transition towards post-quantum cryptography (PQC).

QSE's suite of quantum-readiness technologies, including QPrime, QScope, QSim and QGuard, provides capabilities to support organizations in assessing their cybersecurity and cryptographic posture, identifying areas of exposure, prioritising risks and developing structured improvement roadmaps.

The collaboration brings together Pos Digicert's longstanding expertise in Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), digital certificates, digital identity and trusted digital services with QSE's quantum-readiness technology and expertise in identifying and managing cryptographic risk.

Pos Digicert will complement these capabilities through its experience in Malaysia's digital trust ecosystem, PKI and certification services, trusted infrastructure, professional advisory and implementation capabilities, and established relationships across the public and private sectors.

As organizations increasingly depend on cryptography to secure identities, transactions, communications and sensitive information, advances in quantum computing are creating a new long-term cybersecurity challenge. Preparing for this transition requires organizations to first understand where cryptography exists within their environments, assess potential exposure, prioritise risks and establish a practical roadmap towards quantum-safe technologies.

Through the partnership, Pos Digicert and QSE intend to provide Malaysian government agencies, enterprises and regulated organizations with locally supported capabilities to assess their cryptographic environments and develop structured approaches towards post-quantum readiness.

The collaboration is also intended to support a locally delivered approach to quantum readiness, addressing considerations such as data sovereignty, regulatory requirements and trusted infrastructure that are particularly important to government agencies and regulated industries.

"PQC readiness is becoming a shared responsibility between technology, governance and trusted local ecosystems," said Ted Carefoot, Chief Executive Officer of QSE. "This partnership brings together two important pieces of that equation. QSE contributes our quantum-readiness technology to help organizations measure and improve their PQC and cryptographic readiness, while Pos Digicert brings deep Malaysian market knowledge, digital trust capabilities, professional expertise and the local infrastructure needed to deliver those capabilities effectively. Together, we can provide Malaysian organizations with both the technology and local expertise required to turn post-quantum readiness from an emerging concern into measurable action."

"Post-quantum readiness is not simply about replacing one cryptographic algorithm with another," said Amir Suhaimi Hassan, Chief Operating Officer of Pos Digicert. "It requires organizations to understand where cryptography exists today, what information and systems may be exposed, and how that transition can be managed systematically without compromising trust or operational continuity."

Mr. Suhaimi Hassan continued, "For Pos Digicert, this partnership is a natural extension of what we have been doing for many years - enabling trust in digital transactions. By combining our experience in PKI, digital identity and trusted infrastructure with QSE's specialised quantum-readiness capabilities, we want to help Malaysian organizations move from awareness of the quantum challenge towards practical and measurable action."

The partnership is expected to support organizations throughout their post-quantum transition journey - beginning with discovery and readiness assessment, followed by risk prioritisation, remediation planning, migration preparation and ongoing monitoring and improvement.

Rather than treating quantum readiness as a one-off technology exercise, Pos Digicert and QSE aim to help organizations develop a structured and sustainable approach to cryptographic resilience.

The two organizations will also work together to develop offerings tailored to the Malaysian market, undertake customer engagements and contribute towards greater awareness and capability development around post-quantum readiness.

The partnership represents another step in Pos Digicert's evolution as Malaysia's digital trust landscape expands beyond traditional PKI and digital certification into the emerging requirements of a post-quantum world.
