Curlew Lake Announces Change of Directors and Officers and Grant of Stock Options

Vancouver, British Columbia--(Newsfile Corp. - October 16, 2017) - Curlew Lake Resources Inc. (TSXV: CWQ.H) announces that Robert Cheney, a current director of the Company (refer to News Release dated August 3, 2017) has been appointed as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company, taking the place of Jurgen Wolf who has resigned. The Company thanks Mr. Wolf for his service as President, CEO and a director of the Company over the past five years.

The Company further announces the appointment of Trevor Wilson as a director, taking the place of Mr. Wolf on the Board. Mr. Wilson attended University of British Columbia and began his career in the securities industry in 1964 at Dominion Securities. In 1973, he joined Loewen Ondaatje McCutcheon, Canada's first boutique institutional house as a director and managing partner. In 1991, Trevor became a partner and Vice-Chairman of Yorkton Securities Inc. ("Yorkton"). His responsibilities included initiating the wholesale transformation of Yorkton into an institutional investment house. During his tenure, Mr. Wilson was a key member of a successful team that raised significant funding for a wide range of venture capital investments. In 1997, Trevor left Yorkton and founded Valdesol Holdings, a private investment company, of which he is currently President.

For clarification, the Company's Officers and Directors are now comprised as follows:

The Company also announces the grant of options to eligible optionees entitling them to purchase a total of 515,000 common shares at $0.65 per share exercisable in whole or in part on or before October 15, 2020, subject to acceptance by the NEX Board of the TSX Venture Exchange.
