The collaborative effort saw Diagnostyka lead the product vision and strategy, including new features like Profilaktometr (Prophylactometer), a proprietary gamified dashboard that helps users start or improve their preventive health activities, and LiDia, a virtual AI assistant that helps to organize preventive healthcare in a transparent, fact-based manner.

Both features and other app improvements were made in alignment with Diagnostyka's overall business strategy and mission to promote preventive healthcare.
"As the leader of the laboratory diagnostics market in our country, we are constantly evolving, utilizing the latest technologies, and implementing solutions that make it easier for Poles to look after their health. Together with our partners, we have ensured that AI algorithms and our own proprietary tools can accompany patients daily in a safe, understandable, and intuitive way," said Jaromir Pelczarski, Vice President of the Management Board of Diagnostyka S.A.
"Through the AI Assistant (LiDia) and the Profilaktometr tool, we are fulfilling Diagnostyka's mission to support Poles in health prevention. Thanks to these modules, the Diagnostyka app goes beyond the basic functions of purchasing tests and downloading results. It becomes a daily companion for users in taking care of their health," added Jerzy Biernacki, Chief AI Officer at Miquido.
As the strategic technological partner in the collaboration, Miquido combined its expertise in UX, tech, and AI with Diagnostyka's verified medical knowledge to bring the app to life.
The teams operated in synergy, regularly held strategic workshops to share their expertise, and worked closely throughout the design, testing, AI implementation, and launch phases of the project.
"Diagnostyka is an incredibly mature and conscious partner that perfectly understands that the success of such projects relies on building a joint team operating in full synergy and mutual support," said Krzysztof Kogutkiewicz, CEO of Miquido. "Only in such an arrangement can you deliver an app to users that not only impresses with its technological advancement and usability but, above all, brings real business — and in this case, medical — value. I am truly proud that, as the Miquido team, we can support Diagnostyka in its mission to promote prevention and thus have a real impact on improving patient health."
Based on Diagnostyka's goals and requirements, Miquido built the app using Flutter, and used Google Cloud Platform and Vertex AI as the foundation of the app's infrastructure. This provided the app with the stability needed to ensure reliable performance and to offer scalability for the future.
"When designing the app, we consistently put the users at the center. User testing and in-depth interviews allowed us to identify areas for improvement and turn them into intuitive solutions. It was a process that proved how vital open collaboration and attentiveness to the needs of different user groups truly are," said Agata Jureczko, UX/UI Designer at Miquido.
