Elcora Appoints New General Manager at Sakura - Ragedara Mine

Halifax, Nova Scotia--(Newsfile Corp. - September 20, 2016) - Troy Grant, President and CEO of ELCORA ADVANCED MATERIALS CORP. (TSXV: ERA) (OTCQB: ECORF) (FSE: ELM), (the "Company" or "Elcora"), is pleased to announce the appointment of Klaus Leiders as the General Manager for the Sakura Joint Venture's Ragedara mine. Mr. Leiders join at an opportune time as the Company recently discovered additional graphite veins at the Ragedara Mine.

Mr. Leiders, a German national, is a mining engineer and brings extensive experience to the Sakura Joint Venture. He will oversee all facets of the operation, including the processing plant and the mine. Another key role will be to interface with customers like ThyssenKrupp and Senior Management of both Joint Venture Partners. Mr. Leiders' expertise in narrow vein mining and mine management will add to the strength and capability of the mining team in Sri-Lanka. He will reside at the Ragedara Mine Site in Sri Lanka.

The appointment of Mr. Leiders will improve the development of the mine and integration of the mill in order to expand the production capabilities and performance of both the mine and the mill. In addition, he will ensure the effective management and liaison between major customer, ThyssenKrupp, and other clients" said Troy Grant, Elcora's President and CEO.
