This expansion into the high school space greatly enhances the opportunities afforded to students nationwide by providing constructive, family-friendly gaming events to further develop positive communities within the scholastic environment. High school students will now have the chance to participate socially and competitively while playing these battle-tested Nintendo titles at the start of the High School Esports League Fall Major 2023.

"Every high school student deserves the opportunity to bond with their classmates doing something they mutually enjoy," said Mason Mullenioux, CEO of Generation Esports. "The Generation Esports and Nintendo partnership provides an outstanding option beyond traditional extracurriculars offered at schools, and gives students an outlet where they can have fun together."

Following the foundation set for the Middle School Esports League, Generation Esports’ vision is to continue supporting every facet of student growth to generate access for all stages of school.

Through the partnership with Nintendo, the company is distributing Nintendo Switch™ systems and software to multiple middle and high schools, enabling their participation this fall season.

"Ultimately our mission is to continue carving pathways to success for maturing youths by creating access and fostering the limitless possibilities for students who want to flourish with their classmates," said Tyler Infinger, Head of Marketing at Generation Esports.
