Viscount Appoints New Controller and Principal Accounting Officer

Vancouver, British Columbia--(Newsfile Corp. - June 11, 2015) - Viscount Systems, Inc. ("Viscount") (OTCQB: VSYS), a software company specializing in physical and logical security solutions, today announced that Shavi Morsara has been appointed Controller and Principal Accounting Officer, effective June 5, 2015.

With an extensive track record working with publically traded technology companies of all sizes, Mr. Morsara brings over 11 years of experience to Viscount. He most recently ran a consulting practice focusing on assisting companies with the development of budgets and forecasts, the maintenance of financial models, and the preparation of product revenue and cost forecast sensitivity.

Prior to his consulting business, Mr. Morsara was the Controller for Recon Instruments Inc., a technology company that provides consumer smart eyewear for sports. There, he prepared quarterly financial statements, financial forecast variance analysis, and oversaw general accounting functions.

Before that, he held a variety of contracting and advising positions for several companies in the technology sector, including Gateway Casinos & Entertainment Limited, a leading Canadian casino entertainment company, Teligence, a dating and chat service, and Intrinsyc Software International, a product development company for connected devices.

Shavi holds a BBA from Simon Fraser University and is a Chartered Professional Accountant.
