Brampton, Ontario--(Newsfile Corp. - December 16, 2022) - Star Navigation Systems Group Ltd. (CSE: SNA) (CSE: SNA.CN) ("Star" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that it has secured its AS9100 Rev "D" Quality Systems certification after a successful renewal Audit. The renewal of its AS9100 certification reaffirms its commitment to the rigorous standards of the aerospace industry and ensures that Star products are manufactured and installed at the highest quality levels.

Meeting the AS9100 Rev "D" standards does more than simply assure customers that the company's products are of the highest quality, it ensures its processes and controls are effective. Retaining this certification is evidence that continuous improvement and continually exceeding customer's expectations permeates Star's culture at every level.

Sponsored by major original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), AS9100 Rev D is a global quality management system standard based on ISO 9001:2015. Star Navigation performed a top-down gap analysis examining its existing quality system and identified processes to be updated. Star manufactures products for Aerospace, Military, Land and Sea vehicles.

Amir Bhatti, CEO of Star Navigation states: "AS9100 Rev "D" is a stringent certification and our team at Star is proud of this accomplishment. We were aggressive in performing gap assessments early and having a competent team to help guide our Quality Assurance process, resulted in a very successful audit with some very positive feedback from our outside auditors. Major aerospace manufacturers and suppliers worldwide require compliance as a condition of doing business, and this re-certification will help us continue to elevate the customer experience and ensure our design, development and production of aerospace products are of the highest quality."
