Tom has over 30-years of experience in the forest industry in Western Canada. Most recently, Tom was Vice President Woodlands — Canada for Canfor Corporation where he was responsible for delivering 17 million (m3) of logs annually to 16 primary manufacturing facilities, managing a budget approaching $1 billion and representing Canfor on forest policy, sustainability, environmental leadership and stakeholder relationships at a regional and provincial level in B.C. and Alberta. Tom is a Registered Professional Forester and also brings to the Company significant experience in organizational development and human resources in the forestry sector.
The Company further announces that the time of the Company's Annual General and Special Meeting of its shareholders, to be held at 4201 Echo Field Road, Cranbrook, British Columbia has changed from 11:00 a.m. Mountain Time to 9:00 a.m. Mountain time on Wednesday, March 25, 2015. Accordingly, the proxy cut-off will also be changed from 11:00 a.m. Mountain Time to 9:00 a.m. Mountain time on Monday, March 23, 2015 (48 hours prior to the meeting).
