Tropic International Inc. Obtains Australian Patent

Woodstock, Ontario--(Newsfile Corp. - January 12, 2015) - Tropic International Inc. (OTCBB: TRPO) (OTCQB: TRPO), a Nevada corporation in the business of developing and commercializing an innovative home mist tanning system, is pleased to announce that it has obtained a standard patent for its primary product from the Patents Office of Australia. The certificate of grant in respect of patent notes an invention title of "Automated mist tanning apparatus" and states that the term of the patent is 20 years (expiring on April 2, 2027). The patent number is 2012227220.

The Australian patent is the company's second; on September 29, 2009, it obtained a United States utility patent for the same product under a slightly different invention title. The company continues to have patent applications pending in Canada, China and Europe.
