Toronto, Ontario--(Newsfile Corp. - December 24, 2014) - Sunset Cove Mining (TSXV: SSM) today announces that it has finalized agreements to acquire 100% of the La Pause Property owned by Cartier Resources (TSXV: ECR). This property is very well located in a well known long time Gold producing area of Quebec.

"We are purchasing this property now and are looking for others to allow us to start to build a portfolio of Quebec based mining properties," said Lorne Woods President of Sunset Cove Mining. "We feel the timing is right to start doing some work in our backyard and believe that this Gold property will work well in combination with our graphite properties to give us a balance of mineral types."

The La Pause property, made up of 36 claims and covering 1, 598 ha. is located only 2Kms from the Mouska Mine, currently owned by Iamgold, and very close to two mining centers where mining activity has been going on for 100+ years; the Doyon-Bousquet-La Ronde gold mining complex and the prolific Larder Lake-Cadillac Break area.

Recent exploration work performed in 2012 by Cartier has identified ten high priority drill ready targets on the la Pause Property. Sunset expects to be able to put together the exploration program with APEX Geoscience early in the new year.

This transaction and the related share issuances are subject to approval of the TSX Venture Exchange. Ms. Michelle Deakin, M.Sc., P.Geo., of APEX Geoscience Ltd., has reviewed and approved the technical content of this news release.
