Toronto, Ontario--(Newsfile Corp. - January 25, 2022) -  The Well Told Company Inc. (TSXV: WLCO) (FSE: 7HO) ("Well Told" or ‎the "Company"), the female-founded wellness company that offers plant-‎based supplements, remedies, and other functional wellness products announces that it will more than double the Company's points of distribution in the U.S., reaching over 4,000 as of March 2022.

The significant increase in distribution comes as a result of its largest customer, a U.S. nationwide pharmacy chain, submitting purchase orders for three new Well Told products that will hit shelves in March 2022. These additions include the soon-to-be-launched Face the Day and Sleep powders, along with Well Told's bestselling Sleep capsules. Currently, the pharmacy chain carries Well Told's Bloating Be Gone and Energy Booster capsules.

"Although we only got going in the U.S. in November of 2021, it is incredibly encouraging to see our largest customer already increasing the number of SKUs they will be carrying," said Monica Ruffo, founder and CEO. "It is doubly exciting that they have ordered 2 SKUs from our new powder line that has not been launched anywhere yet. This bodes very well for the potential of this new powder line."

In addition, the board of directors of the Company has approved the grant of an aggregate of 4,382,919 stock options under its Stock Option Plan to certain officers, directors and employees of the Company. The options are all exercisable at $0.085 per share and expire after five years. The options granted to officers and directors will be subject to a four month hold period pursuant to the policies of the TSX Venture Exchange.

About The Well Told Company Inc.

Founded by serial entrepreneur and award-winning leader Monica Ruffo, it was after undergoing treatment for breast cancer, and deciding to take her health into her own hands that she discovered the lack of transparency and availability of clean, plant-based formulations in the wellness industry. With the mission "Clean wellness for all", Well Told's products are currently available in over 2,000 stores across Canada including several well-known retailers and recently launched in over 850 pharmacies in the US.
