Pacific Opportunity Capital Increases Share Position in Alianza Minerals Ltd.

Vancouver, British Columbia--(Newsfile Corp. - March 2, 2016) - Pacific Opportunity Capital Ltd. (the "Acquiror") wishes to announce that on March 1, 2016, the Acquiror acquired ownership and control of 2,000,000 common shares of Alianza Minerals Ltd. (the "Company") at $0.15 per share for shares-for-debt settlement as approved by the Company's shareholders on February 29, 2016 at the Annual General and Special Meeting and by the TSX Venture Exchange on March 1, 2016.

The 2,000,000 common shares of the Company acquired by the Acquiror represent approximately 12.7% (basic and diluted) of the issued and outstanding common shares of the Company. Following the acquisition, the Acquiror and its controlling shareholder, together, owns and controls 4,668,300 common shares, 1,018,000 warrants and 150,000 options of the Company, representing approximately 29.6% (basic) and 34.4% (partially diluted) of the issued and outstanding common shares of the Company.

The Acquiror and its controlling shareholder acquired the common shares for investment purposes. The Acquiror and its controlling shareholder have no present intention to acquire ownership of, or control over, additional securities of the Company, but may choose to acquire additional securities of the Company in the future for investment purposes.
