Mobilman Management has been developing software, using cloud based applications, which will permit construction companies to manage their mobile work force, as well as improve their ability to simultaneously report progress made on projects to their clients.

In April, the company released its BETA version, which includes support for both iPhone and Android OS devices. The Mobilman application works via WiFi and Cellular networks and allows users to access the service while in the field via their Internet connected smartphone, tablet or laptop computer.

By providing the application by way of Software as a Service, available either as a "pay as you go" or annual subscription basis, it eliminates the need for companies to purchase additional hardware or software.

According to government statistics, there are more than 500,000 mobile trades people working in Canada. The application will also benefit mobile workers in other fields such as healthcare, entertainment, transportation and telecommunications.
