Montreal, Quebec--(Newsfile Corp. - May 30, 2013) - Global SeaFarms Corporation (CNSX: GSF) ("GSF" or the "Company") announces that the Company's board of directors has approved the following changes to the management team. Effective immediately, Robert Boisjoli will assume the position of Chief Executive Officer and Cameron McDonald will assume the position of Executive Vice President of Strategic Development. Also, Benoit Forget will assume the role of Chief Financial Officer. The purpose of these changes is to align the strengths and resources of the management team with the business development initiatives of the Company going forward.

Mr. Boisjoli, a Fellow Chartered Professional Accountant occupied the role of Chief Financial Officer and has held various management leadership positions including the role of Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of Xanthus Pharmaceutical (Boston) and the role of Chief Financial Officer of various other public and private companies. Mr. Forget is currently the corporate controller for GSF and has extensive experience with public company accounting, financial reporting and oversight of internal management controls. The board of directors believes that this structure better positions the management team for implementation of the Company's business plan and to capitalize on the range of growth and value creation opportunities in this dynamic and expanding industry.
