In the center of Yukon's new gold rush

Banyan is focused on advancing two Yukon gold properties, the Hyland Gold Project and the Aurex-McQuesten Gold Project.

The Hyland Gold Project

This project is located in the Watson Lake Mining District in southeast Yukon. What is known as their "Main Zone" has the potential to host a multi-million ounce deposit. Furthermore, the Hyland Gold Project has a National Instrument 43-101 Technical Report (NI-43-101) indicated mineral resource of 8.6 million tonnes grading 0.85 gram per tonne gold equivalent (AuEq) for 236,000 AuEq ounces with an inferred mineral resource of 10.8 million tonnes grading 0.83 g/t AuEq for 288,000 AuEq ounces at a 0.3 g/t AuEq cut-off. Moreover, mineral exploration on the project dates back to the 1800s.

The Aurex-McQuesten Gold Project

The Aurex-McQuesten Gold Project dates back to the beginning of the 1900s. Their rich history details that nearby areas at Keno and Galena Hill have been subject to intense silver exploration, development, and mining. However, their early gold prospecting began shortly after the Klondike gold rush. This project is located in the Mayo Mining District, which is north of Whitehorse. Furthermore, the Aurex-McQuesten Gold Project consists of 506 active Yukon registered quartz mineral claims - totaling over 9,230 hectares.
