Aurania: 208,000 Hectares in Ecuador

August 15, 2019

A massive land package in Southeastern Ecuador

Aurania Resources is a junior mineral exploration company. Their focus is on precious metals and copper. The company is engaged in the identification, evaluation, acquisition and exploration of mineral property interests. Its flagship asset is The Lost Cities – Cutucu Project. This is located in Southeastern Ecuador at the Peruvian border on a very massive land package of two hundred eight thousand hectares.

"I've been working in geology for 36 years and I have never, ever seen anything with this abundance of targets. We have copper, we have gold, we have silver, we have lead and zinc." says Keith Barron, PhD, CEO & Chairman of Aurania

Aurania is the first company to tackle this package of land. In fact, the last time it was last looked at was by the Spanish conquistadors in 1605.

Moreover, Aurania has teamed up with Metron Inc., a big data company who will provide data analytic and statistical analysis services. This will help Aurania refine its search for the gold mining centers.

"Aurania has a lot of possibilities because everything is so, so very well mineralized. It gives us a lot of opportunities to joint venture, not just the entire package, but to break it up and joint venture with different companies." says Barron.
