Victoria Gold: Pouring Its First Gold Bar

November 19, 2019

A memorable milestone has been reached for Victoria Gold

Victoria Gold has now reached a major milestone: Pouring their first bar of gold! This was a tremendous accomplishment for the entire team. The Eagle Gold Mine in Canada's Yukon has been under construction since September of 2016.

Further, the inaugural gold bar was poured by Sandy Silver, the Yukon’s Premier. Remarkably, the bar weighed in at 1,001 ounces gold!

Moreover, Victoria Gold is ramping up production, having crushed 1.1 million tonnes of ore and delivering a shipment to the Royal Canadian Mint for refining in October of 2019.

“I take this opportunity to thank our operations team. They have worked, and continue to work, safely, passionately and tirelessly to ensure a rapid and smooth ramp-up of the Eagle Gold Mine.”, remarked John McConnell, President & CEO on a press release. “This inaugural gold shipment is testament to that hard work, and there is so much more to come!”

Victoria Gold's 100%-owned Dublin Gulch gold property is situated in central Yukon Territory, Canada, approximately 375 kilometers north of the capital city of Whitehorse. It's also approximately 85 kilometers from the town of Mayo. Additionally, the Property is accessible by road year-round, and is located within Yukon Energy's electrical grid.
