Ms. Johnston holds a Bachelor of Accounting (Honours) Co-op degree from Brock University and is a registered Chartered Professional Accountant with more than 15 years of finance and accounting experience, primarily in the mining sector. Since December 2024, Ms. Johnston has served as Vice President, Finance of Osisko Metals Incorporated. Prior to that, Ms. Johnston spent nearly a decade at Osisko Mining Inc., ultimately serving as Vice President, Finance. Ms. Johnston also has public company board experience, having served on the board of Metalla Royalty & Streaming Ltd. since August 2022, and on the board of Manitou Gold Inc. from June 2021 to February 2023.

In connection with the appointment, the Company has granted Ms. Johnston stock options to acquire an aggregate of 100,000 common shares of the Company (each, a "Share"), exercisable at a price of $0.82 per Share for a period of five years from the date of grant. The options vest in equal thirds on the date of grant and on each of the first and second anniversaries thereof, and are subject to the terms of the omnibus equity incentive plan of the Company and the policies of the TSX Venture Exchange.
