Vancouver, British Columbia--(Newsfile Corp. - September 18, 2015) - InvestmentPitch Media, which has one of the largest libraries of video content about small and mid-cap companies, has officially launched its new investment channel on ROKU TV. Roku, which offered consumers the first Netflix Internet streaming box in 2008, now delivers more than 1,400 channels to approximately 15 million households.

Although most Roku channels are free, there are some, such as Netflix, Hulu Plus, History Channel, NBA League Pass and NHL Gamecenter that are only available on a subscription basis. According to the latest study by Parks Associates, Roku holds a dominant 37% market share in the U.S. streaming device market.

The InvestmentPitch channel has several sub-channels, making it more convenient for viewers that want to watch only specific categories of videos such as interviews, conference presentations, or new listings. The company reviews 100's of news items daily from a variety of sources, creating 3 minute videos which are delivered by news anchors.

The most popular product is a 3 minute "buy recommendation" video which summarizes an often lengthy investment firm research report - information that is rarely available to individual retail investors. These videos are ideally suited for delivery to mobile devices, with 58% of smartphone users now watching short videos every day.

InvestmentPitch CFO Barry Morgan stated: "The Roku channel, with its potential audience of 15 million households, complements our current extensive video distribution, which includes 550,000 Reuters' terminals along with the 1 million pages views we receive monthly on our corporate site."

Investors should also visit www.investmentpitch.com which hosts additional content, which is not available on the Roku channel. This would include content which is time sensitive or large-cap company video content provided by 3rd parties such as media giant Reuters and Zacks Investment Research.

The power of video for delivering investment related information is confirmed by a 3M study that showed that one minute of video equates to 1.8 million words because visuals transmitted to the brain are processed exponentially faster than text, making video the single most powerful communications tool available.

If you are interested in participating in digital media, one of the fastest growing sectors on the Internet, Investmentpitch is currently accepting new investors through a new equity crowdfunding campaign at www.seedups.ca.
