TORONTO, ON (September 24, 2021) - Partake Brewing is pleased to announce it placed No. 28 on the 2021 Report on Business ranking of Canada’s Top Growing Companies.

Canada’s Top Growing Companies ranks Canadian companies on three-year revenue growth. Partake Brewing earned its spot with three-year growth of 2112%, establishing itself as the leader in the rapidly growing non-alcoholic beer category in the Canadian market. This is the second year in a row Partake has been recognized, moving up from the 55th spot in 2020.

Partake Brewing was founded by Ted Fleming in 2017 after a medical diagnosis led him to give up alcohol. To maintain the social connection and interaction that comes from socially drinking, Fleming turned to non-alcoholic beer. However, he found that variety and taste were often missing from the non-alcoholic beerofferings available. This ultimately inspired him to brew his own, giving consumers a variety of great-tasting, non-alcoholic beers suitable for any occasion or location.

“Apparently I wasn’t the only one out there looking for a tasty alternative when it came to the non-alcoholic beer category,” jokes Ted Fleming when asked about the most recent announcement. “In all seriousness, we are honoured and proud to be recognized as one of Canada’s leading businesses but more than that, I’m just happy that we can give beer lovers everywhere the opportunity to partake and feel included in every occasion, no matter their reason for cutting back on alcohol.”

Partake currently offers PALE, IPA, BLONDE, RED, STOUT and limited seasonal editions including PEACH GOSE, LIME and RADLER. Consumers consistently seek out Partake for its exceptional taste, unmatched calorie count (10-35 calories per can), vegan all-natural ingredients and brewing process.

Launched in 2019, the Canada’s Top Growing Companies editorial ranking aims to celebrate entrepreneurial achievement in Canada by identifying and amplifying the success of growth-minded, independent businesses in Canada. It is a voluntary program; companies had to complete an in-depth application process in order to qualify. In total, 448 companies earned a spot on this year’s ranking. The full list of 2021 winners, and accompanying editorial coverage, is published in the October issue of Report on Business magazine—out now—and online.

“As we look toward the future, Canada’s Top Growing Companies offer both inspiration and practical insights for other firms facing similar challenges,” says James Cowan, Editor of Report on Business magazine. “The entrepreneurs behind these companies are smart, tenacious and unwavering in their commitment to their goals.”

“Any business leader seeking inspiration should look no further than the 448 businesses on this year’s Report on Business ranking of Canada’s Top Growing Companies,” says Phillip Crawley, Publisher and CEO of The Globe and Mail. “Their growth helps to make Canada a better place, and we are proud to bring their stories to our readers.”
