The Billy4Kids Foundation and Bill Lerner's Wife Marcella De Martin Have Donated 150 Pairs of Shoes to The Covenant House in Casa Alianza Mexico

New York, New York--(Newsfile Corp. - September 20, 2022) - With efforts driven by Billy Lerner's wife, Marcella De Martin, ambassador for the Billy 4 Kids foundation, The Covenant House in Casa Alianza, Mexico received 150 pairs of shoes.

The Covenant House in Casa Alianza provides care and protection for boys and girls who have experienced extraordinary trauma, including abuse, neglect, violence, abandonment, addiction to harmful substances, sexual exploitation and human trafficking. They were established in 1981, and also have locations in Nicaragua and Guatemala in addition to their Mexico branch.
In this region of Mexico, many parasites such as Ascaris lumbricoides- roundworms, Trichuris trichiura- whipworms, Necator americanus, and Ancylostoma duodenale- hookworms are present in the soil. These parasites make suitable footwear a dire need for children inhabiting these areas.

The donation of 150 pairs of shoes to this home in Mexico directly affected the lives of children in The Covenant House in Casa Alianza and many other members of the community as well.
This shelter is the home to over 80 children and teens, with a separate branch for mothers and young children. The mission at The Covenant House in Casa Alianza is to be "dedicated to living out His covenant among ourselves and those children we serve, with absolute respect and unconditional love." The values and goals of The Covenant House in Casa Alianza align perfectly with what Billy 4 Kids stands for and hopes to promote around the world.
With every mission Billy 4 Kids completes with the help of Billy Lerner's wife, Marcella De Martin, they are actively getting closer to their goal of saving, benefitting and changing the lives of hundreds of children around the world.
