Idaho-Maryland Mine Project

highgradclip.jpgThe Idaho-Maryland mine was once the second largest lode gold mine by annual production in the United States with total past production of 2.4 million oz of gold at an average mill head grade of 1/2 oz per ton.

The state-of-the-art underground mine and surface processing facilities have been meticulously designed to ensure minimal environmental impacts and disturbance to neighbors.

100% ownership

  • Once the 2nd largest gold mine in the US
  • Historic production of 2.4 million oz gold 0.5oz per ton mill head grade
  • ~121,000 oz / year in 1940-41
  • Forced closure in WWII
  • Closed in 1956 due to fixed price of gold
  • Private land
  • No royalties

Exploration Drill Results

  • Numerous mineralized intercepts up to 1 km below historic mine.
  • Drill hole I-18-10 assayed
    149.3 gpt / 6.81 m (4.35 oz per ton / 22.4ft), included 2190.0 gpt / 0.46 m (63.85 oz per ton / 1.5 ft) - True width unknown.

Sustainability

Green Gold and Green Economy

  • 50% less CO2 per $1M GDP than California Average

Compared to world gold industry – per oz

  • 90% less CO2
  • 90% less water consumed
  • 95% less “mine waste” produced
  • 99% less NOx and SOx emissions

The Company believes it drilling program has been successful but cautions investors no current mineral resources or mineral reserves have been defined.  The Company cautions investors that no technical report has been filed to support that this rate of production can be achieved. The Company has not completed a feasibility study to establish mineral reserves and therefore has not demonstrated economic viability of the IM Mine. The Company has not made a production decision for the IM Mine.

About / Overview

Frozen in Time

Annual production reached 129,000oz gold / year before a forced shutdown by the Federal Government, closing America's goldmines. During WW II the US deemed gold mining non-essential to the war effort and sought to shift the national mining workforce from gold to base metal production.

Major Past Producer Closed at it’s Zenith

The Mine had planned to double production in 1942 before the forced shutdown from 1000 to 2000 tpd. The mine’s owner Errol MacBoyle barred the USGS from inspecting the property, thus preventing details of the mine’s geology and underground working from being published.

Idaho-Maryland Gold Project

New discoveries in the early 20th century allowed a second era of prosperity at the mine and by 1939 the Idaho-Maryland was the largest producing lode gold mine in the California and 2nd in the United States only to the mighty Homestake Mine. In the two years before forced closure, in 1940 and 1941, annual production averaged 121,000 oz gold per year.

Our Story

Rise owns the past producing Idaho-Maryland Gold Mine located in Nevada County, California USA. Total past production from the Idaho-Maryland Mine is 2,414,000 oz gold with an average mill head grade of 0.50 oz/ton (~17 gpt)

Discovered during the gold rush, the Idaho #1 Vein produced a remarkable 935,000 oz of gold at an average head grade of 1.1 oz per ton and by 1892 the mine was believed to be the deepest gold mine in the world and the greatest gold producer on the continent.

New discoveries in the early 20th century allowed a second era of prosperity at the mine and by 1939 the Idaho-Maryland was the largest producing lode gold mine in the California and 2nd in the United States only to the mighty Homestake Mine. In the two years before forced closure, in 1940 and 1941, mine production averaged 920 tons per day with a mill head grade of 0.38 oz per ton (12.9 gpt) and 121,000 oz of gold production per year.
