I’m Larisa and I am a mental health counselor, author, and writer. My belief in the individuality, uniqueness, and strength of each person has allowed me to work from a wellness and holistic standpoint and has inspired many of my books and writings. From my writings that focus on self-growth and personal development to my children’s book, Quinn-Da-Lin, I strive to promote acceptance of ourselves and others while embracing life for the beautiful journey that it is. My goal, not only as a mental health counselor, but in my personal life, is to make a difference in the lives of others by exemplifying kindness, acceptance, and love.

 You are only human - just like the rest of us. We all have a story, mixed with moments of struggles and joy. We all hope to get the best out of our lives, reach our potential, and be and do what we want. While most things are not in our control, we do have control over our approach to every situation. I believe that we all have the inner capacity and wisdom to improve and heal ourselves. Therefore, I work with my clients, not as their leader, but as their teammate, guiding them to be in the driver’s seat of their own life to become the person they strive to be.

QuinN-Da-LiN

Quinn-Da-Lin is a rhyming children’s book that follows a disabled boy with a prosthetic leg on his journey to find a puppy that is unique like him. The book encourages readers, especially children to accept and embrace themselves as they are, highlighting the importance of loving the aspects of themselves that may be different from others. It also portrays to children that if they keep trying and don’t give up, they can accomplish anything they set their mind to.
