Can you clarify one important difference with respect to Season 1 Hackathon:

  • in season 1 the winning projects had to develop the application during the 2 months after the selection was made
  • in season 2 the projects submitted must be already functional, there will be no development phase for the hackathon. The awarded projects will get the prizes and no further milestones will be needed
    Did I get it right?

Hi @Sirluke

That is correct. This is one of the requirements of DevPost. Therefore, participants will be judged based on the complete project that they will be submitting. There won’t be any milestone payment but a one-time payment upon winning. However, for those who decided to participate in the Forum for the additional Forum prize pool, it is highly recommended to provide a simple (can be somewhat flexible) milestone plan to show the judges and the community so people know what to expect at what stages.

Looking forward to your team’s project again in S2. All the best!
