Attribution Summary:

BlackRock Global Funds World Gold Fund – Based in Luxembourg, this is the world’s largest gold fund by AUM. The fund managed $5,784,521,819 USD in net assets as of Feb 2021. This is a slight decrease in AUM from the $7,362,416,769 USD reported in Aug 2020. Notable new additions to the fund during the period include: Dundee Precious Metals Inc., Great Bear Resources Ltd. and Skeena Resources Ltd.

First Eagle Gold Fund – During the period Oct 2020-Apr 2021 the fund increased position sizes in 3 companies: Wheaton Precious Metals Corp., Fresnillo PLC and Orla Mining Ltd.

Invesco Oppenheimer Gold & Special Minerals Fund – In a span of 4 months, Apr-Jul 2021, the fund added 10 new positions and disposed of 11 companies from the portfolio. Notable new additions include: Canada Nickel Co., Inc., Canada Silver Cobalt Works, Inc. and Zijin Mining Group Co. Ltd.

Fidelity Select Gold – Between Aug-Oct 2021 the fund decreased its holdings in US domestic equities by 1.2% and emerging markets by 0.7%. The fund increased its holdings in developed markets by 2.3%.

Sun Valley Gold LLC – Between reporting dates of Feb-May 2021, the fund added 3 new positions to its list of investments: Silvercrest Metals Inc., IAMGOLD Corp. and SPDR Gold Trust.
