The Eldorado Gold Project

Highlights

  • Gelum Resources Ltd. is targeting high-grade, orogenic gold-sulphide vein systems and/or breccias located along regional faults.
  • The mineralization is hosted by district-scale, high-grade gold-bearing structures that continue for 20 km to the south, where Endurance Gold Corp. is currently drilling a 15,000m programme at the Reliance Gold Project. Mineralization and alteration types are virtually identical in the two camps.
  • Gelum completed three holes totaling 796m in the fall of 2022, and an additional six holes totalling 1340m in fall of 2023. Airborne (VTEM) and ground (3D IP) geophysics have outlined several promising drill targets.
  • Drilling has intersected gold mineralization in all holes, associated with intense alteration (silica and iron-carbonate) in sulphide-rich, quartz-cemented breccias and veins.
  • Management is proud to have developed an excellent working relationship with the Bridge River Indian Band (Xwísten), including an exploration agreement that covers the Multi-Year Area Based work permit (MYAB; filed under the Company’s profile in SEDAR).
  • The Xwísten agreement will allow full access to the Company’s tenures until a NI 43-101 Feasibility Report is produced.

Convenient Location

  • The shortest route is Vancouver – Pemberton then via the Hurley FSR to Gold Bridge, then north along Tyaughton Creek FSR (5-hour drive).
  • Also accessible by 90% paved roads via Highway 99 and 40 through Lillooet (6.5 hours).
  • Accommodation is at Gold Bridge (25kms) and Tyaughton Lake lodge (10kms).

Recent Accomplishments and Upcoming Work

OVERVIEW

  • Gelum recently completed six holes totalling 1340m in fall of 2023, having completed three diamond drill holes (795.5 metres) in late 2022. These are the first phases of a 3000-metre, helicopter-supported, diamond-drill programme that will be resumed in summer 2024.
  • Drilling has intersected sulphide-hosted gold mineralization (including visible gold) associated with intense alteration (silica and iron-carbonate) and favourable hydrothermal vein textures (quartz-cemented breccias, crack and seal veins, open space filling) and with important sulphides being coarse-grained arsenopyrite, sphalerite and galena, and fine-grained pyrrhotite and pyrite.
  • The western extension of the Robson vein was successfuly drilled 400 metres west of the historical workings: this is now a significant stand-alone drill target.
  • A new zone of arsenopyrite veins hosted by highly silicified siltstone/sandstone was discovered in the NW corner of the property and tested with one hole. This adds over a kilometre of strike length to the main mineralized trend.
  • Assay highlights from the 2023 drilling include 0.412 g/t gold over 95.8 metres (ELD23-03 from 101.65 to 197.5 m), which includes two higher-grade intervals of 5.78 g/t Au over 1.70 meters and 5.66 g/t Au over 0.55 meters. A narrow arsenopyrite vein near the top of the hole (at 6m) contains visible gold and assayed 12.84 g/t Au over 0.5 meters. Both intercepts are open in all directions.
  • The best intersection from the 2022 programme includes 44 metres assayed 0.414 g/t Au (ELD22-03), which contains two close-spaced, higher-grade intervals of 3.26 g/t Au over 0.83m and 3.11 g/t Au over 1.05m.
  • Also in the fall of 2023, Dias Geophysical Ltd. of Saskatchewan completed a 3D pole-dipole DCIP survey over approximately 1.5 square kilometres at Eldorado, which determined that the highest sulphide concentration lies at depth and has yet to be drilled.
  • Gold grades correlate most highly with arsenopyrite, the project's most prevalent sulphide, and the IP survey will delineate the best concentrations of this and therefore gold.
  • As of May 24th, 2022 the Company has consolidated its exploration portfolio by entering into an agreement under which Gelum may earn a 100% interest in the Robson claim (305 hectares), which is within the Eldorado Gold Property (now totalling 9,028 hectares) currently under option.
