COMMUNITY-DRIVEN:

EEA Community Projects – Your Path for Open Source Business Collaboration

The EEA Community Projects provide support for open source development of code, APIs, standards, and reference implementations.  Its foundation is the former Ethereum OASIS Open Project, which represents 25+ years of OASIS experience in collaborative development and its global reputation and relationships. The work is led by EEA, managed under the OASIS Open process, and driven by the community at large.

Everyone is welcome to contribute to the existing Baseline project, the L2 Standards Working Group, or the TokenScript working group. Suggestions for new EEA Community Projects are also encouraged.  You do not need to be an EEA member to submit a technical contribution or get involved.

Support the EEA Community Projects: Become a Sponsor

Sponsors help provide the strategic vision, governance, and technical guidance and approve new projects and standards to ensure the long-term health and growth of the open source community.

Organizations that sponsor the EEA Community Projects have the option to hold a seat on the Project Governing Board, where they:

  • Oversee the technical agenda and marketing activities
  • Work with Technical Steering Committees
  • Appoint Maintainers and elect Chairs
  • Decide which work products to advance through OASIS’ more formal standards process
  • Request submission of approved work to ISO and IEC
  • Gain exposure on the Projects website and via social media, events, press, and analyst communications

MEMBER-DRIVEN:

EEA Interest & Working Group Projects—Your Path to Collaborate with Member Companies

EEA members that wish to pursue a technical specification that supports the requirements of their specific industry or areas of interest can participate in EEA’s member-driven Interest and Working Groups.  EEA members exchange information, share use cases, and work together to ensure that any resulting technical specifications support their specific needs.  See the current list of Interest Groups and Working Groups – more are being added.

To participate, join one of the Interest Groups and share your requirements.
