NATURE MATES INTRODUCES A NEW PARTNERSHIP FOR SUSTAINABILITY

Artists Raising Awareness for Global Well-Being are Asking All of Us to Take a Closer Look at Sustaining the Environment.

Established in September 2021, Nature Mates is generating a heightened awareness of how multiple sustainable initiatives in the U.S. can be better understood and supported. With 100% of the profits going to charity, their primary mission is helping to keep beaches and recreational areas clean and pristine.

Founded by Cody Szczekot, a photographer and entrepreneur, and co-owned by his wife, Oliwia [Biela] Szczekot, an internationally established artist, Nature Mates is exactly what its name implies: they are friends to nature, who believe in taking responsibility for the well-being of the planet, and encouraging others to do the same.

The beaches, campsites, and recreational areas to which they are devoting their positive energy include many places where the couple love to travel, spending their free time camping and hiking. They explain their mission with a humble anecdote: “It can be something as simple as picking up trash in a parking lot – but it could also be saving a turtle who was attempting to cross the street as we were on our way back from the thrift store the other day.”

Speaking of thrift stores, acting sustainably by purchasing used clothing and accessories, substantially reducing plastic use, and encouraging kindness to animals are just a few of the things that inspire the Szczekots’ forward-thinking agenda.

Both of them are accomplished artists. Cody’s creative focus is on spontaneous photography, including visions of landscapes and architectural images, while he has also produced a number of abstract paintings. Oliwia has been creating abstract art on canvas since 2014.

She speaks of her paintings as “a manifestation of prayers and meditation, embodying and transferring positive vibes that support the energy in any given room.” Oliwia’s medium is primarily canvas or wood, and she uses all sorts of paints to achieve the desired effects; many of her works also include healing crystals, dried flowers and herbs. According to the artist, these additional components are intended to “straighten the energy flow while triggering the viewer’s inner child, enabling a state of emotional wellness and harmony.”

That said, the human factor is equally significant, with nurturing spiritual well-being in others becoming another important piece of the couple’s mission. Through his prior experiences, Cody wants to help those who struggle with addiction, or have been in prison, to take on new challenges. He encourages them to “think out of the box”. He’s continuously inspired by his passions – he is a self-taught pianist, who plays an eclectic mix of music, including his own original compositions. He feels most alive when participating in outdoor sports such as jet skiing and snowboarding, and by sharing these emotions, and the effects on his own life, he works to lift up others.

In collaboration with Cygalle Beauty and Joel Warren at The Salon Project in Boca Raton the artwork of Nature Mates is currently on exhibit on the second floor at Saks Fifth Avenue

in Boca Raton.” In addition, it provides a wider platform to promote awareness of what steps we can all take to save the planet.”

About Nature Mates

The journey is just beginning. Nature Mates is a solutions partner that has a desire to generate sustainable remedies for the ailments our planet is suffering due to years of reckless human behavior, such as littering and the lack of cognizance of the importance of recycling. They are promoting ethical ideas which provide benefits to us all.

“If Mother Earth goes down, so will we all!”

This rallying cry is a crucial driver that should inspire humankind to rise above complacency and take positive action when it comes to the health of our planet.
