W. Scott Boyes, President and CEO, previously stated: "We believe that current and planned cultivation by existing licensed producers will oversupply the domestic market. Instead, we plan to focus on the production, distribution and retailing of high quality cannabis distillates and derivative products for the domestic medical and adult use markets and for export to the growing list of countries legalizing the use of medical cannabis."

Its Canveda (www.canveda.ca) subsidiary is a licensed producer capable of producing high quality cannabis flower in its fully built-out 12,000 square foot facility located in Peterborough, Ontario. Canveda harvested its initial crop in November 2018 and successfully passed microbial testing in mid-December 2018 with consistent THC values and is scheduled to go into full production by the end of the first calendar quarter of 2019. Canveda intends to develop an onsite retail outlet in accordance with recently announced Ontario provincial policies regarding retail outlets operated by licensed producers.

BioCannabis Products, another subsidiary has submitted an application to Health Canada to become a licensed producer. BioCannabis' current lease encompasses a 72,342 square foot facility located within Owen Sound, Ontario, where it is planning an initial build out of 15,000 square feet concentrating on a small number of cultivation rooms for specific strains with two-thirds of that dedicated to extraction, processing and packing to meet the expected demand for SALUS and MPX products in the Canadian market.

Its Spartan Wellness subsidiary helps veterans suffering from various ailments, mostly psychological, to reduce or eliminate dependencies on highly addictive and unsafe opioids by directing them towards medical cannabis. Spartan Wellness currently receives sales commissions from licensed producers that supply its network of veterans with medical marijuana. Upon the receipt of a sales license by Canveda, MPX intends to convert the Spartan patient base to patients of Canveda.
