Throughout the Class Period, Defendants made materially false and/or misleading statements and/or failed to disclose material adverse facts about Coty’s business, operations, and prospects. (“Coty” or “the Company”) (NYSE: COTY) and certain of its officers.  The class action, filed in the Southern District of New York, captioned Garrett-Evans v. Coty Inc., et. al., and docketed under Case No. 20-cv-07277, is on behalf of a class consisting of investors who purchased or otherwise acquired Coty securities between October 3, 2016 and May 28, 2020, inclusive (the ”Class Period”). Plaintiff seeks to recover compensable damages caused by Defendants’ violations of the federal securities laws and to pursue remedies under Sections 10(b) and 20(a) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 (the “Exchange Act”) and Rule 10b-5 promulgated thereunder.

For violations of §§10(b) and 20(a) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and Rule 10b-5 promulgated thereunder by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. The This action , was filed in the Southern District of New York and is captioned Garrett-Evans v. Coty Inc., et. al., No. 20-cv-07277 (S.D.N.Y.). It , is brought on behalf of a class consisting of all persons and entities other than Defendants who purchased or otherwise acquired Coty securities between October 3, 2016 and May 28, 2020, inclusive (the ”Class Period”).
