An introduction to the upcoming platform built by The Fable Of The Dragon Tyrant community
It begins with a famous line from Nick Bostrom’s Fable Of The Tyrant Dragon that goes like this:
Today we are like children again. The future lies open before us. We shall go into this future and try to do better than we have done in the past. We have time now — time to get things right, time to grow up, time to learn from our mistakes, time for the slow process of building a better world…
Now imagine a future world where time is expanded for us, where we live longer and happier, and our trivial problems are less frequent. What will we do with all this “found time”? What is the point, anyways?

There has been a concept floating around Web 3 for months now: ‘SOULBOUND’
Soulbound NFTs are like Traditional NFTs with one simple twist: they can’t be traded, sold or transferred. Whoever mints them has them forever. This is a lot different than commercial NFTs and offers serious applications for the future. Here’s Vitalik’s original blog post that started the fire:

First, what are POAPs?
POAPs are mentioned first in VB’s ‘Soulbound’ writings. It is because one of the most obvious use cases for Soulbound NFTs would be an evolution to the Proof Of Attendance Protocol (POAP).
POAPS are defined as digital badges given to nomads as a way to prove their attendance at any event. They are a really cool way to show you were at the right place, at the right time and are making their way to the mainstream quickly:

POAP is an excellent example of an NFT that works better if it could be soulbound. If someone is looking at your POAP, they are not interested in whether or not you paid someone who attended some event. They are interested in whether or not you personally attended that event.

Designing the Proof Of Purpose Protocol (PPP)
The Dragon Tyrant project has proven itself as a group of Web 3 enthusiasts who are on a mission to raise awareness for longevity, perspective & anti-aging research. With PPP, the mission grows much larger.

Introducing: SoulFire by Tyrant
The SoulFire — Proof of Purpose Protocol (PPP) concept is simple. Various organizations, like SENS Research, create Soulbound NFTs that represent their mission and cause.
Every Soulbound NFT has three parts:
- The Cause (many orgs can share a cause, ex: Science Research)
- The Organization (ex: SENS)
- The Artwork that represents the two
Web3 users who feel connected to a mission (purpose) are able to mint the Soulbound NFTs which are then seared into their wallet for the rest of time. In this moment, they bridge their web2 identity on-chain to important causes like:

- Human Rights
- Social Freedoms
- Scientific Developments
- Humanity Support
- Globalization & Development
Our platform, SoulFire, encourages the world to browse causes, organizations and artwork to discover Soulbound NFTs that represent them best. Users can then show the world which movements are part of their identity through a wallet-connect profile view.
The ultimate vision is for SoulFire users to:
- Link to their Soul Fire profile page from places like Twitter so their causes are showcased on-chain
