A new company, Skyborne Technology, is building unmanned airships in Wewahitchka.
On Thursday, Gulf County officials are celebrating Skyborne Technology’s acquisition of the Costin Airport in Port St. Joe and the beginning of manufacturing of airships in the county.
The celebration starts at 11 a.m. CST at the airport.
Skyborne will be launching the airship, which will allow them to release drones from Gulf Coast State College and the local school systems.
