HighGold Mining Responds to Helicopter Incident at Johnson Tract Project, Alaska

Vancouver, British Columbia--(Newsfile Corp. - August 26, 2020) - HighGold Mining Inc. (TSXV: HIGH) ("HighGold" or the "Company") reports that a helicopter incident occurred yesterday at our Johnson Tract Project in Alaska. A helicopter operated by our local contractor sustained significant damage following a forced landing event. No passengers were on board and thankfully the pilot received only minor injuries.

Health, safety, and well-being of the people working at the Johnson Tract Project remains our highest priority. Our on-site team responded immediately and efficiently to secure the well being of the pilot and our other personnel in accordance with HighGold's response plans. The helicopter contractor will be investigating the cause of the incident in cooperation with the Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board.

The contractor's second helicopter remains on site to service the three drill rigs in operation as well as geophysical and geological survey crews.
