We are moving forward with our #meetourteam series and today we have the pleasure of introducing to you José Marques, our S2S Printing Manager. Jose has an extensive experience in printing. He started on this career path almost 25 years ago, and in 2022 he joined Ynvisible, initially as a Senior Printing Expert. 𝙌: 𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙙𝙤 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙡𝙞𝙠𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙢𝙤𝙨𝙩 𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖𝙩 𝙔𝙣𝙫𝙞𝙨𝙞𝙗𝙡𝙚? Ever since I started working at Ynvisible, it has been like a thrilling rollercoaster ride full of knowledge, scientific discovery, and cutting-edge technology. In my opinion, this is one of the most exciting moments to be in the world of printed electronics and Ynvisible is a leading company that brings all of it together. The most rewarding part of being a part of this company is the feeling of constantly pushing forward. Moreover, I have the pleasure of working alongside an international team that is incredibly talented and has expertise in various areas. And, last but not least, the team has been incredibly welcoming and made me feel at home from day one. Well, I guess that sums up why I love working at Ynvisible. I believe that e-paper integration in various aspects of our lives is already underway and will become even more prevalent shortly. Its low power consumption, adaptability, recyclability, and technological superiority make it a unique and valuable technology. As printed electronics is still in its early stages, I believe the growth rate for e-paper will increase exponentially. In the coming years, I think this technology will have more fields of application, creating opportunities for new product designs and form factors, and will move towards a more massive production level. Ynvisible is playing a significant role in this development, contributing immensely and leaving its mark on the IoT and the world today. So, make sure you focus your efforts on these areas. Strong communication skills, unwavering resilience, and a sharp eye for detail are also key ingredients for achieving success. These traits are equally important and can make all the difference in your professional journey. I am in Europe this month, and I’ve started my visit at Ynvisible's factory in Linkoping. Carlos Pinheiro, our CTO, is with me. Lucia Gomes is our Chief Operating Officer, a role she took after being Ynvisible’s Director of Development and Prototyping. As part of our series of introducing more people from our #team here to you, we’ve asked Lucia to share more about her job and goals here at Ynvisible:    𝙌: 𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙙𝙤𝙚𝙨 𝙖 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙠𝙙𝙖𝙮 𝙡𝙤𝙤𝙠 𝙡𝙞𝙠𝙚 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙮𝙤𝙪?   A workday for me is a dynamic orchestration of leadership, strategic planning, problem-solving, cross-functional collaboration and execution aimed at driving the company´s success. Throughout the day I need to address issues across departments together with the leaders, coordinate efforts to ensure projects are on track, and make decisions regarding resource allocation, budgeting, and staffing. Additionally, having strategy sessions with the executive team and engagements with external stakeholders like clients or suppliers, is also a critical part of my daily work.   𝙌: 𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩’𝙨 𝙖𝙣 𝙞𝙢𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙩 𝙡𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙤𝙣 𝙮𝙤𝙪’𝙫𝙚 𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙣𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙞𝙨 𝙘𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙡 𝙞𝙣 𝙙𝙤𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙟𝙤𝙗 𝙖𝙨 𝘾𝙊𝙊? An important lesson I´ve learned as a COO is effective delegation, team building and empowerment. Learning to delegate tasks to team members and empowering them to take ownership of their responsibilities fosters a culture of accountability and trust within the organization. We are currently delivering to our customers and at the same time preparing for higher demands. My team and I are focused on implementing measures to optimize our operational efficiency and increase production capacity.
