ATAC Resources: Nevada of the North?

May 19, 2020

Canada’s only Carlin-style mineralization

ATAC is a Vancouver-based exploration company. They're focusing on advancing Yukon’s premier precious and base metal district and grassroots exploration in Nevada.

"The Yukon has incredible mineral potential. Lots of things are being found." says President and CEO, Graham Downs.

Further, work on its ~1,700 km2 Rackla Gold Property in Yukon has resulted in the Osiris Project Inferred Mineral Resource of 1,685,000 oz of gold at an average grade of 4.23 g/t (in 12.4 Mt), a positive Preliminary Economic Assessment for the Tiger Gold Deposit, and numerous early-stage gold and base metal discoveries.

"We see potential there for three to five million ounces." says Downs. Additionally, ATAC is well-financed with approximately $9 million in working capital.

Rau Project

Since 2007, 22 targets with gold and/or base metal mineralization have been discovered across a 20 km trend at the Rau Property. Moreover, Polymetallic, intrusive-related mineralization has been identified over a 20 km trend. It also shows systematic zonation outwards from the Rackla Pluton - one of the proposed hydrothermal fluid sources for the district. In addition, mineralized showings discovered to date include intrusive-proximal skarn, through intermediate and distal carbonate replacement and manto systems. Also, systematic exploration at the Rau Project has revealed an exciting geological environment, which has already led to multiple discoveries and suggests a robust system with significant additional potential.

"We've got a plan to drill in the next couple of months. We’ve got the resource and a deposit with a lot of potential and we’re going to be able to advance this very quickly." says Downs.
