Vancouver, British Columbia--(Newsfile Corp. - October 20, 2017) - Opawica Explorations Inc. (TSXV: OPW) (the "Company") announces that, prior to a meeting of the Board of Directors held today, Mr. David Taylor has resigned as President, Chief Executive Officer and Director of the Company.

Mr. Paul Antoniazzi, Director, was unanimously appointed as Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer by the Company's Directors at the aforementioned meeting, to hold such appointment until the Company's Annual General Meeting scheduled on November 23, 2017, at which time the Company will elect directors to hold office for the ensuing year.
